FANTASY CRICKET · SCORING BASICS

T20 fantasy scoring.
Understand the points.

Fantasy scoring turns moments in a real match into a contest total. Learn the usual categories, then use the official scoring table for your contest.

A PRACTICAL PRIMER

What can count toward a score?

Every platform sets its own values, bonuses, deductions and eligibility rules. The examples below explain common scoring events; they are not DREM T20 contest settings.

01 · BATTING

Runs and milestones

Runs, boundaries and strike rate may contribute. Some systems add milestone bonuses or apply a deduction for a low strike rate, often subject to a minimum number of balls.

02 · BOWLING

Wickets and economy

Wickets, maiden overs and economy rate can matter. Wicket type may affect the award, and economy calculations may have a minimum-overs requirement.

03 · FIELDING

Catches and run-outs

Catches, stumpings and run-outs are common fielding events. Check how your contest handles direct hits, assists, dropped catches and player substitutions.

01

Confirm the scoring version

Open the specific match or contest rules. Formats can use different point values even on the same platform.

02

Check thresholds and exceptions

Look for minimum balls faced or overs bowled, super-over treatment, substitutes, impact players and abandoned-match rules.

03

Account for captain multipliers

Captain and vice-captain multipliers vary. Verify how they apply to bonuses, deductions and any late team changes. Our captain guide explains the choice; the team-building steps cover the full process.

04

Use points to learn, not to chase noise

One match can turn on a small number of moments. Review a player's role and opportunity across several matches instead of treating a single score as a guarantee.

This is educational content. It does not publish live scores, guarantee outcomes or define a DREM T20 contest. Always rely on the rules displayed by the official contest, and check local eligibility requirements.
